Some people wonder why there is no price information on this website. If we felt it would be helpful, we'd certainly put it on. But costing these bags wholesale is more complicated than you might think. We find that in order to give you a correct quotation, we need to know:

1. Which bag? We recommend you start by looking at our standard jute or standard cotton ranges which show the basic styles. The custom bags section gives you some ideas for possible variations. If you can't make up your mind, please tell us what you want the bags for. Our advisors will help you to choose the right style. We're happy to quote for a variety of styles or quantities.

2. How many bags do you need? Or as many of our customers ask, What's the minimum order? The very fewest we can supply is 100 bags - unprinted.

For printed bags the minimum order is just 200. For this quantity you can choose from a limited range of natural (beige) jute or unbleached cotton bags, subject to stock availability.

For more flexibility and keener prices, we can make your bags especially for you, be they stock styles or something bespoke. It's a more versatile option - we can customise bags completely, and the minimum is usually 500 bags (jute) or 1000 cotton. We have price breaks at the following quantities: 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 7500, 10000, 15000, 25000, 50000. For 75,000 bags or more we will build you a custom quote.

3. When do you need them?
2-3 days? We can supply plain, bags, subject to stock availability. Minimum quantity: 100.
2 weeks? The minimum lead time for printed jute or cotton bags - as long as we have stock. Minimum run: 200.
5-6 weeks? We can make bags to any size and colour you like. Some graphics can only be printed using this or our standard service. Minimum run: 500 (jute) or 1000 (cotton).
About 10 weeks? Our economical standard service is your best bet and is the best value. Please note: with this service, we are not always able to give a firm delivery date at the time of order. Minimum run: 500 (jute) or 1000 (cotton).

4. What kind of handles?
Jute: made of the same hessian material as the bag. Strong but rough.
Cotton webbing:  recommended by us. Sturdy, simple, comfortable.
Padded cotton: Webbing wrapped round rope. Exceptionally comfortable.
Rope and eyelet:  cotton rope knotted through eyelets. Elegant.
Bamboo: polished bamboo. Simple, straight and very strong.
Bentwood:  Sustainably-sourced cane, any shape you like. Refined.

And would you like your handles hand-carrying length or shoulder length?

5. Printing?  How many colours? How many sides?  The more colours, the higher the price. If there is greater than average coverage or you need special inks (eg. metallics), an additional charge applies. We use azo-free water-based dyes and Pantone matching (uncoated series) to specify the colours. 

6. Fabric colour? Most customers like the natural (beige) colour which is the cheapest choice. We have a wide range of standard shades and for larger runs can dye material to your Pantone shade. This additional service costs a little more. For a nice effect you can combine different shades on the same bag - for example, coloured gusset and natural front/back.
