We have so many reasons to be grateful to Sweden. The music of Abba, the films of Bergman. The furniture of Ikea and the telephones of Ericsson. The tennis of Borg, the Prize of Nobel and now, the bread of Peter's Yard. This artisan bakery and cafe has made Edinburgh an even better city to live in. 

It's a relaxed place where the Scandinavian tradition of “Fika” - taking time to chat to friends over a coffee and a bite to eat - is encouraged. And they are very serious about their food, with a traditional stone oven turning out immaculate rye and crispbreads to die for.

They are equally serious about their packaging, and for them we created a beautifully printed jute bag with grey trim. As you can imagine, the design, materials and construction had to be spot on: nothing less would do for a baker of this quality and a Swedish one to boot. So Canby were the only choice.

We work with bakers nationwide to help them replace plastic with an environmentally friendly alternative. It's our daily bread!
