Printed jute and cotton bags are now a familiar sight. As the first specialist supplier, we’ve seen how some bags are better made, better designed and simply more effective than others. Our nine years’ expertise in the industry can help you to create a winner, too.
Screenprinting
In India
Under our standard service, your bags will be printed in India. Printing is done on cut sheets of fabric before we stitch the bags. This means we can print close to the edge and even “bleed” the design under the seams. Because the design is printed before the bags are made, the results are excellent. Minimum order is 500 bags and minimum lead time 6 weeks.
In the UK
For express service, we print onto stock bags at our Nottingham plant. This means we can deliver your bags in about a week. This is also how we fulfil orders under 500 bags – which are too small for our Indian factory. Results are spectacular, but as we are printing on made-up bags you need to allow about 5cm gap between the edge of the bag and the artwork. Minimum order is 200 bags and lead time around a week.
Embroidery
For high-class customisation, why not embroider your logo in silky cotton? This looks especially good on juco. We can even combine embroidery with screenprint – an awesome combination. Minimum order is 500 bags.
Heat transfer
Full-colour images such as photographs involve “ironing on” a laserprinted colour transfer. This only works on cotton bags: transfers don’t look good on jute and have a tendency to wear off quickly.
Swing tags
We’re talking designer labels here. We’ll gladly print and attach your full-colour label with a loop or a Kimball (a plastic anchor like a clothes label) to add that extra touch of personalisation. A swing tag attached to a small plain bag works really well for packaging luxury goods such as wine or soaps.
Fabric labels and applique
We can supply woven labels to sew in or onto your bags. Alternatively, send us your labels or tags - and we will sew them on. Please note this service is not available for locally printed bags. Minimum run is 500 bags.
